Finally!
Finally I have integrated all the different translation contributions on the Google Docs to a single document file. Also I’ve made a in-depth revision of the resulting document in order to normalise the text. Also, some missing parts have been added.
After this, the resulting document was sent to the PT.OWASP mailing list for further appreciation and review until the 22nd of October. All the comments must be received until that date.
Meanwhile we will continue to evaluate the joint translation with our brazilian friends.
After this date, I hope to consider this work as finalized and send the final result to OWASP.
Oh well. One less thing to do now… out of the hundreds I still have on my TODO list!
Currently working hard to have a final version of the portuguese translation of the OWASP Top 10 (2010 final version). Still integrating and reviewing the work of the translators.
The basic idea was to have a common PT_pt and PT_br translation. I’m still not 100% convinced that this is possible. Although we share the same common language there are still to many little details separating us both.
Worst case scenario: we will end-up with two different portuguese versions of the same document. Damn it!!!
